It has been two years since the doors of this terminal reopened after a long and challenging closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Four years is no short time. In that time, much has changed – the economic landscape, the movement of society, even the way we live our daily lives. But despite all the difficulties, there is one thing that remains: hope.
Hope to reconnect. Hope to see this terminal come back to life with the voices of passengers, the roar of ferry engines, and vibrant business activities. Hope to unite communities that have been separated by distance and constraints.
In 2023, the Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal will reopen its operations – not just as a transportation hub, but as a symbol of revival, resilience and recovery. It marks a new starting point in our efforts to restore the logistics, tourism and regional economic network.
Over the past two years, this terminal has received thousands of passengers coming and going, becoming a link between the homeland and regional destinations such as Desaru, Singapore, and other areas. It has once again become a catalyst for tourism, a driver of local economic growth, and a strengthener of international relations.
This success would not have been possible without the dedication and spirit of cooperation of all parties – from the terminal management, local authorities, ferry operating companies, the small business community, to the passengers who have always provided support and trust.
Today, we not only celebrate the two years that have passed, but also express our commitment to continue developing the Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal as a modern, safe, and efficient strategic gateway.
May this anniversary be a reminder that every new beginning comes with opportunities, and every challenge faced will produce extraordinary strength.
Happy 2nd Anniversary Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal!
